About the Author:

Stacie Schimke is inspired by design: graphic, architectural, object, interior, and the combinaton of color and texture. Her eye is drawn to the details, the spiderweb in the corner of a door, the numbers on the face of an old pocketwatch. Photography and painting are the devices with which she displays her design sense. Recently, she has begun writing and designing children’s books. Finnbar and the Firefly is the first in a series of Finnbar adventures.
